Take me love Goddesses

Juno is the Roman Goddess of marriage and wives. Her festival Matronalia is celebrated in March but June is named after her. Therefore it is seen as the month of weddings and handfastings, and is often honoured at Litha. At Matronalia, women receive gifts from their husbands and daughters and female slaves were given the day off.
