Bats are a symbol of birth and rebirth as it dwells the belly of the Mother Earth. For the Native Americans who observed that they were social creatures, they became a symbol of communication. They also observed how sensitive the bats were to their surroundings and therefore are also associated with intuition, dreams and visions. This is why bats have strong connection to the shamanism tradition. Bats have strong family connections. They are also associated with new beginnings, trusting ones instincts, and obviously guardians of the night.
